WHO WE ARE

Pendo Project is a Grassroots organization which was started by Tracy Pepper, a Canadian living in New Zealand. While climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Ovarian Cancer Awareness, Tracy fell in love with the African culture and could not ignore the need for a basic standard of life that so many of us take for granted.
Until now, this project has been funded entirely by Tracy. It is no longer sustainable to be financially funded by one person. It’s now time for Pendo Project to grow, to help more children and provide more programs to more communities across East Africa.
Her philosophy is simple: In order to help people, you need a genuine connection to understand the needs of the community. Her approach is entirely organic, hands on and authentic. 100% of the donations go directly to the people who need it most and a relationship is built.
In Africa, they named her Pendo, which means “Love” in Swahili.
To help provide funds to help Tracy to continue to travel to East Africa to bring much needed supplies please
