Pendo Project
The volunteers at Pendo Project have a mission to improve the lives of families and their communities across East Africa by supporting education costs for impoverished children, basic nutritional needs, medical care and rural educational infrastructure.
Pendo Project is different because we believe in sustainability for the future, empowering women and girls through education, in a society where the value of a female is less than that of a cow or a goat.
The family dynamic in Africa is changing. There are more single mothers today than ever before. We are teaching these women about financial literacy and independence by supporting them through entrepreneurship so that they can send their children to school.
This is about starting with a new generation and new mindset.
In East Africa, there is no government support for education. If families do not have financial means, their children do not go to school. Pendo Project wants to break that cycle.
Pendo Project’s aim is to mentor and walk alongside these communities of women, teaching them to earn money and provide for their families.

Our aim is to support those who are supporting the vulnerable Indigenous people and children in their community by providing clothing, food, and education
